Canouan Island is truly in the heart of The Grenadines, a region known for its unsurpassed sailing, marine life and Caribbean charm. Located just 110 miles west off Barbados, Canouan Island is a short flight away from the other Grenadine Islands of Mustique, Bequia, Petit St. Vincent, and the Tobago keys.

The island's 3 square miles are dotted with lush green rolling hills, secluded white sand beaches and one of the world's largest coral reefs, which is home to an amazing array of fish and corrals, which offer excellent snorkeling and scuba diving. With a population of only 900 residents, Canouan Island is an intimately friendly and welcoming island paradise for those seeking a sophisticated and idyllic Carribbean getaway.

Getting There

Canouan is accessible by air from North America, Canada and Europe through five major gateways - Barbados (40 min.), Grenada (20 min.), Martinique (60 min.), St. Lucia (40 min.) and San Juan (2 1/2 hours). Flights are available from major cities with American Airlines connecting into Barbados and San Juan. American Eagle operates a scheduled service between San Juan-Canouan-Barbados-Canouan four times a week. TIA will operate daily non-stop flights from Barbados to Canouan. Mustique Airways also flies into Canouan. Private charters are available.
