Le Bas International Air Division was founded on
October 1, 1990 by three entrepreneurs: Peter Le Bas, Chief
Executive Officer, Patrick Hampton, Chief Financial Officer
and Tracey Deakin, Chief Operating Officer. The first offices
were located at 239 Seal Beach Blvd, Seal Beach Blvd.,
California, USA.
From its inception the goal was to arrange on-demand, the
most suitable choice of safe aircraft available throughout the
globe*.
As a result our services are utilized by airlines, corporations,
incentive groups, sports teams, entertainment personalities
and heads of state.
- 1990 - Our first charter took place in
October 1990 transporting an urgently required part for an AOG
(Aircraft on Ground) Douglas DC-8.
- 1991 - October 1991 Le Bas joined the National
Business Aircraft Association (NBAA.)
- 1994 - Continued expansion saw the US offices relocated to 10911 Bloomfield Street, Los Alamitos, California.
- 1995 - Launched website
www.lebas.com.
- 1996 - European office opened at Shannon
International Airport, Ireland, to cater to expanding
European client base.
- 1997 - US operations and Sales center relocated to Cambria, California in response to continued
growth.
- 1998 - Introduced the Crystal Globe Award for
system operators, (our vendors.) The award is presented each
year to the aircraft operator that best .... our flight
standards. Previous winners include Kalitta Flying Services, National Jets, Inc.,
Air Castle, Inc. and Air East Management.
- 1999 - New marketing and sales plan, coinciding with a celebration
of a decade in business.
- 2003 - US operations and Sales center
relocated to San Luis Obispo, California to provide
enhanced service to the expanding client base.
- 2003 - Purchased FBO
Dublin Ltd., an executive aircraft handling company in
Ireland.
